Scott
Kay, designing for Winward, has devoted himself more to Platinum
than perhaps any other young designer. He points out that Platinum "is
a shade not a color, allowing the designer to use anything in contrast,
whether diamonds or gold or colored stones. Platinum is more universal
to wear than a colored metal. It goes with anything."
Women's designs by Scott Kay take advantage of the metal's inherent
romance and purity; men's designs emphasize Platinum's strength and contrast.
They have in common the dynamic look and feel for which Scott Kay is known.
